The Catalysis approach to design is about standing back from the detail so that you can discuss the most important parts without the clutter of line detail. You prolong the life of a design by making your overall vision clear to maintained, enhancers, and extenders. Earlier in this book we saw how to use models to abstract away implementation details. Pre/ post specifications abstracted what was required of an object rather than how it achieved it. Joint actions represent, as one thing, an interaction that may be implemented by a series of messages. 

Like the old royal chariots, the chariot of the solar body has four wheels. Wheel is the root meaning of the Sanskrit word, chakra, used because of the chakras rotating motion. The four chakras that are the wheels of the fiery chariot of the spirit are the Mercury and Venus centers to the front and the Sun and Mars centers to the back. This is the Merkabah which was seen in Ezekial s vision in the Valley of Bones, the omnipresent throne of Adam-Qadmon. The name Merkabah is also given to the Jewish mystical system of the post-Temple period.

After a 40-month mean follow-up period (range 3-66 months after removal of the heavy oil), total retinal reapplication was achieved in 16 cases. Three patients suffered from RD recurrence under silicone oil by proliferative vitreretinopathy (PVR) and one after silicone oil removal. Post-operative visual acuity, better than quantitative vision, making deambulation possible, was achieved in 10 patients with a mean acuity of 1/20 and at least 3/10 in 3 patients. 

The co-3 fatty acids have numerous important functions, especially in the brain. Accordingly, a deficiency of DHA and EPA may cause dysfunction of the central nervous system and probably also the retina, thereby resulting in impaired vision. In addition, there is a variety of neurological and psychiatric disorders that have been associated with decreased levels of especially DHA and AA, such as, for example, schizophrenia and depression [3], post-traumatic stress syndrome, autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Since no primary inherited defect of essential fatty acid interconversion has yet been described, no specific explanations for the essential fatty acid concentration changes are readily available. 

The concepts of complexity and emergent properties, discussed here within the context of drug research, must become integral parts of every step in this collective effort as it is practised today and as it evolves to newer methods tomorrow. However, and this remark is so important that it was kept for the end, these new concepts are not meant to replace the traditional mechanistic approaches that have proven so successful in drug research. Rather, the post-Newtonian vision must blend with the Newtonian philosophy to enlarge and enrich our mental world. As so aptly stated by Edward O. In this study of Marx s theory of political institutions and political processes, the focus will largely be on the capitalist societies that Marx observed around 1850. The discussion will build upon and extend that of the previous chapter, to take fuller account of the specifically political dynamics of the class struggle. Also Marx s predictions for the communist revolution and his visions about the post-revolutionary society will be studied in some detail, supplementing discussions in earlier chapters.
