Personal Communications Service

The creation by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of new property rights for personal communication services (PCS) is instructional. The new PCS services are thought by investors to be so valuable that their bids for electromagnetic spectrum rights include payments to buy out the current users of that portion of the spectrum and set them up with equivalent personal communications services (Andrews 1992). 

Table 16.22 contains a partial list of frequency allocations for satellite communications. In this section, we designed a flexible multiband antenna based on the aforementioned embroidered textiles. The proposed antenna operates at Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM 850/900 MHz), Personal Communications Service (PCS 1800/ 1900 MHz), and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN 2450 MHz) bands. As demonstrated in Wang et al. (2014), an important aspect of this antenna is the loaded loop.

After Flarvest. How do the memory effects shown by the other crops compare with those of winter wheat Winter wheat did not show a memory effect after one year, but oilseed rape does seem to do so. Researchers of the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service found that nitrate production by microbes in the soil after a rape crop increased with the amount of fertilizer given to the crop (R. Sylvester-Bradley, personal communication). One reason may lie in this crop s habit of shedding its leaves as harvest approaches, which means that the microbes in the soil get early access to these residues. This habit might contribute to the apparently smaller efficiency of this crop in using nitrogen fertilizer. The crop may be just as efficient as winter wheat at taking up the fertilizer but drops... 

By the end of 1996 more than 105 000 diflFerent rings and ring systems had been encountered (P. M. Giles, Chemical Abstracts Service, personal communication).

Nevertheless, in today s cooling water market, while some companies need to reinvent themselves (in order to appropriately differentiate and position their businesses), their field representatives may also need some direction. Despite modem communications and state-of-the-art support tools, some representatives may need to return to providing a more traditional and personalized technical service role.

Stitching to an auxiliary support is the least desirable of the methods that have been tried. In one case observed by Toby Raphael (National Parks Service, personal communication, 1985), a tapa garment had to be completely dismantled for the procedure, and stitching was done through the body of the cloth as well as at the edges through the original seams. While this treatment, undertaken at some time in the past, reflects the application of textile techniques to tapa, it is clearly a more interventive treatment than would be recommended today.
