Ordinary type

Piston Pumps There are two ordinary types of piston pumps, simplex double-ac ting pumps and duplex double-acting pumps. 

In this particuiar instance, due to the large number of fasteners, even an ordinary type of MS fastener will be suitable. 

Class A Intended for use from surface to 6,000 ft (1,830 m) depth, when special properties are not required. Available only in ordinary type (similar to ASTM C 150, Type I ). 

The exchange process in a chelating resin is generally slower than in the ordinary type of exchanger, the rate apparently being controlled by a particle diffusion mechanism.

The change with the concentration cannot be due to the reversible formation and decomposition of a lactone of the ordinary type because we get the effect with ethyl malate as well as with malic add. The change cannot be due to a reversible conversion of laevo-malic acid into dextro-malic add, because then a solution of equivalent amounts of dextro- and laevo-malic acids would become optically active on addition of salts, adds and bases. Hydrochloric add or sodium hydroxide imparts no activity to a solution of d/-malic add. The changes on adding electrolytes to a solution of dextro-malic add are equal and opposite in sign to the changes in laevo-malic acid under the same conditions. 

The abnormal rotation and the anomalous dispersion cannot be accounted for satisfactorily on the basis of polymerization, electrolytic dissociation hydrates, lactones of the ordinary type, or of a structural reversal of the asymmetric carbon atom. 

Clean the outside of the tube and transfer its contents with repeated washing with distilled water to a small ordinary type beaker. Remove barium sulphate which adheres obstinately to the wall of the tube with a glass rod (not rubber capped). By alternate washing with a little alcohol and a little water transfer the last traces of the barium sulphate to the beaker. 

If it is necessary to conduct a risk assessment relating to a specific source of lead (let us say a suspect public drinking water supply), the typical risk assessment would require the development of an exposure assessment relating to that specific source. This ordinary type of assessment would result in some estimate of the range of daily doses (pg/kg b.w.) that individuals using the water could incur. But that dose estimate has no direct utility (1) there are no RfDs developed for specific sources, but rather the target for health protection is based on a blood lead level and (2) the individuals consuming water are no doubt exposed to other sources of lead that contribute to health risk.

Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs) refer to nutrient intake values estimated to be adequate for 50% of age- and gender-specific groups. As seen in the table below, DRIs are comprised of RDAs in bold type and Adequate Intakes (Als) in ordinary type followed by asterisk ( ). These values may be used as goals for individual intake. RDAs are estimated to meet the needs of most individuals (97% to 98%). For healthy breast-fed infants, the Al represents mean intake. For all other life-stage groups, the Al is believed to cover the needs of all individuals, but a lack of data or uncertainty in the data prevent specifying with confidence with percentage of individuals covered by this intake.
