Nausea and vomiting headache

Disulfiram works by irreversibly blocking the enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase, a step in the metabolism of alcohol, resulting in increased blood levels of the toxic metabolite acetaldehyde. As levels of acetaldehyde increase, the patient experiences decreased blood pressure, increased heart rate, chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, flushing, sweating, weakness, nausea and vomiting, headache, shortness of breath, blurred vision, and syncope. These effects are commonly referred to as the disulfiram-ethanol reaction. Their severity increases with the amount of alcohol that is consumed, and they may warrant emergency treatment. Disulfiram is contraindicated in patients who have cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease, because the hypotensive effects of the disulfiram-alcohol reaction could be fatal in such patients or in combination with antihypertensive medications. Disulfiram is relatively contraindicated in patients with diabetes, hypothyroidism, epilepsy, liver disease, and kidney disease as well as impulsively suicidal patients.

Tricyclic antidepressants also have a documented syndrome associated with withdrawal from medications (Petti and Law, 1981). This syndrome can mimic appendicitis or the flu, and can include such symptoms as nausea and vomiting, headache, lethargy, and abdominal pain. If a child on TCAs presents with withdrawal symptoms, questions of compliance must be addressed.

Although dicycloverine has less marked antimuscarinic effects than other similar antispasmodics it still may lead to adverse effects such as dry mouth, dizziness, blurred vision and constipation. Fatigue, anorexia, nausea and vomiting, headache and dysuria (difficulty in urinating) are also possible. 

Common adverse reactions during infusion include extra beats, tachycardia, and palpitation. Angina pectoris, bradycardia, altered cardiac conduction, nausea and vomiting, headache, and dyspnea can occur. Piloerection and uremia have been reported and blood pressure can either rise or fall.

Etoposide is mostly excreted unchanged by the kidneys. The adverse effects of etoposide include nausea and vomiting, headache, weakness, paresthesia, hypotension, palpitation, tachycardia, bone marrow depression, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and reversible alopecia. 

C. Other adverse symptoms. Nausea and vomiting, headache burning sensations in the eyes, lips, mouth, and throat sometimes accompanied by lacrimation, rhinorrhea, or salivation myalgias paresthesias fever (particularly in children) a sensation of constriction in the chest and generalized anxiety. Central nervous system depression and seizures have occurred in overdose. 

Large doses of skunk cabbage have been associated with nausea and vomiting, headache, dizziness, and dimness of vision (Felter and Lloyd 1898 Wood and LaWall 1918). 

Vitamin A Acute toxicity, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, nausea and vomiting, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, loss of muscular coordination, skin discoloration... 

The early effects of acute overexposure to EtO are nausea and vomiting, headache, and irritation of the eyes and respiratory passages. The patient may notice a peculiar taste in the mouth. Delayed effects can include pulmonary edema, drowsiness, weakness, and incoordination. Studies suggest that blood cell changes, an inaease in chromosomal aberrations, and spontaneous abortion may also be causally related to acute overexposure to EtO.
