Minority linguistic

Nobel s will was drawn up in his own hand without any legal help and was dated 27 November 1895, in Paris. The original is in Swedish but contains a number of minor linguistic mistakes testifying to Nobel s limited experience with the Swedish language. So, we have two earlier manuscripts, MSS A and B, and two later ones, MSS C and D. And as MSS A, C and D are all located in Istanbul, we have reason to suspect that MSS C and D are derived from MS A, and that the three copies form a closed tradition. This suspicion is confirmed through close comparison between the texts of the three copies. The texts of MSS C and D nowhere improve the text of MS A, and they introduce numerous errors to it. That said, the copyist of D occasionally attempts to make minor linguistic corrections to the text, but these are all clearly his own and not based on a different witness. 

Psychological factors also play an important role. Poor compliance is commonly seen in younger patients, patients with psychiatric illnesses and in minority groups with poor understanding of diabetes care principles for linguistic or cultural reasons. 

This foreman was talking about his own site operatives and his own management of safety, however, the way he talks about site safety rules gives them a very minor status - just an odd rule. Reference to violations as odd reduces their impact in both frequency and severity, and positions them within a reality where safety violations (which in practice could be very serious in terms of consequences) are frequently minimised through relatively casual talk and linguistic associations. Furthermore, this foreman s enforcement process does not fit within any wider management practice or process framework and no punishment is included within this level of interaction. This subcontractor s foreman is happy to simply enforce safety without further recourse or punitive action to his own site... 

The ontological status of linguistic entities was a prime concern of linguistics in the middle part of the 20th century, but surprisingly has not been the subject of more recent work. Good references that discuss the nature of words, sentences, phonemes and so on include Lyons [290] and Bloomfield [57]. Tokenisation in general does not receive much attention in the literature as it is always assumed to be a relatively minor (and simple) task. 

Results of previous inspections were available in a structured way just for a few Seveso facdities, where major and minor non conformities are systematically accounted. The number of minor and major non conformances were accounted as inspection results. The mnnbers were converted in a linguistic value ranking from poor to good. For other establishments the results are presented in a more qualitative way. In order to compare the result, violations were weighted as major non conformances and complaints as minor non conformances.

The Lisbon Treaty inserted minorities into the Treaty on European Union in art. 2 however, it is yet too early to evaluate the consequences of this. " The provision does not further describe or restrict the term minorities . It is not clear whether the classic minorities, being national, ethnic, linguistic or religious in nature, are the only ones covered. The article as it stands now will open the door for the so-called new minorities, for example immigrants, to claim protection under this article.

Curiously, this definition is used in virtually all minority discussions even though Capotorti stated explicitly that his definition was solely developed in relation to art. 27 ICCPR.The definition only focuses on ethnic, religious and linguistic factors. National minorities are not mentioned. It was not until 1992 that...
