Management strategies

The project "Non-Invasive Inspection within an Asset Risk Management Strategy" is another joint industry project, funded by EC-THERMIE, representing the current trend towards onstream (non-invasive) inspection in combination with risk-based inspection philosophies to establish component condition. In this project, industry and authorities participate aiming at a beneficial use of today s NDT without sacrificing on safety.

Chemical, cultural, and mechanical weed control practices have been relatively successful ia reducing yield losses from weeds (448). There are several different strategies for air pollution control. The strategy just discussed and shown in Fig. 5-1 is called the air quality management strategy. It is distinguished from other strategies by its primary reliance on the development and promulgation of ambient air quality standards.
