Levels regional

High-resolution observation of dynamics of bio-macromolecules in cells and bio-organisms atomic or molecular level, regional or focused observation, three-dimensional analysis ... [Pg.23]

Here, we demonstrate clear and direct evidence for the modified electronic structures of surface Pt atoms in Pt-Co and Pt-Ru by using EC-XPS [Wakisaka et al., 2006]. The sample electrode was transferred between an XPS chamber and an electrochemical (EC) chamber without exposure to air (to minimize contamination of the surface). All photoelectron spectra, including the valence level region) were taken by using a monochromatic Al Ka (hv = 1486.58 eV). The uncertainty of binding energy measurement was less than + 0.03 eV. [Pg.323]

Degeneracy can be introduced not only by heavy doping, but also by high density of surface states in a semiconductor electrode (pinning of the Fermi level by surface states) or by polarizing a semiconductor electrode to extreme potentials, when the bands are bent into the Fermi level region. [Pg.321]

The temperature and time measurements (4 and 5) are plotted, and a smooth curve is drawn. The temperature difference between the level regions of the solvent plot and the solution plot (or the difference between the solution plot and the tabulated freezing point of... [Pg.284]

You get 1 point for the first plot. You get 1 point for the second plot only if the level region is definitely... [Pg.321]

An elliptical distribution indicates that systematic errors are present. The pattern is similar to Figure 7, labeled TREND however, the line segments are longer and too many points lie at the ellipse extrema. This Indicates two "level" regions in the T plots (early and late). The time sequence connected points show movement from the systematic low quadrant to the systematic high quadrant. [Pg.266]

In the photoemission spectroscopic method, it is customary to distinguish between a core level region, which is probed in XPS (see Fig. 2), and which contains the response coming from the bound or core levels, and a valence band region, which is explored by both XPS and UPS, and which contains the response coming from the outer electrons in a solid, those of the ground state energy bands. [Pg.204]

Multiplet splitting occurs in the core-level region as well as in the energy range which we called valence region in this case it can be due to photoemission from a localized state, although this state may be not very far from the Fermi edge. A typical example of... [Pg.204]

The X-ray photoelectron spectra of gaseous 2,5-(2,2 -dithienyl)diethynylthiophene 109 (TRIM) (Figure 22) in the C Is and S 2p core level regions have been recorded by means of synchrotron radiation (SR) <2001CPL(340)449>. [Pg.687]

Two-way embedded interfaces. These involve embedding a low modelling level region within a simulation at a higher level, e.g. embedding a QM model of a substrate and active site within an MM model of the enzyme, or embedding an MM model of an ion channel within a CG model of a membrane. [Pg.14]

On the regional level, regional control laboratories (as a part of the State Institute for Drug Control) are responsible for drug control among wholesalers eind pharmacies, especially for pharmacy-compounded drugs. [Pg.623]
