Information adoption

To a computer scientist, VS is nothing but another text mining, only the bits and bytes stored that contain molecular information adopt a format quite different from natural language and without adequate warning cannot be quickly interpreted. It is not that modem day text does not contain text that is not natural language, but that they are adequately flagged and do not stop the NLP software. For example,...

One cannot accept the Vita dementis as a truly historical account. Clement was indeed martyred under Diocletian, but many of the details of the vita story are anachronistic. For example, women could not formally adopt children under Roman law until Leo VI issued his Novel 27 at the end of the ninth century, although informal adoptions by Christian women occurred as early as the fourth century. Moreover, the elaborate private orphanage that Sophia and Clement organized would probably have been impossible in the third century. The details of the vita correspond more closely to the conditions of the fourth and fifth centuries when private Christian foundations were becoming common in Asia Minor, though one should not rule out completely a third-century orphan asylum. ... 

The two biographies of the tenth-century monastic reformer Athanasios the Athonite (Vita A and Vita B) offer the most interesting example of an informal adoption. According to Vita A, Athanasios had already lost his father before he was born. His mother died a short while later while she was still nursing her baby. Athanasios was in a situation almost as desperate as an exposed infant. 

The results of the assessment are documented in an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which discusses the beneficial and adverse impacts considered to result from the activity. The report is one component of the information upon which the decision maker ultimately makes a choice. A final decision can be made with due regard being paid to the likely consequences of adopting a particular course of action, and where necessary by introducing appropriate monitoring programs. 

The set of parameters given in Table 11.1 is by no means unique, since any independent set of combinations of the given parameters will serve equally well. The particular set adopted will depend primarily on the purpose for which they are to be used. Thus, if we are interested in the dependence of the effectiveness factor on one particular physical variable, it is obviously convenient to choose the dimensionless parameters in such a way that all but one are independent of this variable. A plot of the effectiveness factor against one dimensionless parameter will then summarize the desired information. 

After development of a new process scheme at laboratory scale, constmction and operation of pilot-plant faciUties to confirm scale-up information often require two or three years. An additional two to three years is commonly required for final design, fabrication of special equipment, and constmction of the plant. Thus, projections of raw material costs and availabiUty five to ten years into the future become important in adopting any new process significantly different from the current technology. 

Butadiene is primarily shipped in pressurized containers via railroads or tankers. U.S. shipments of butadiene, which is classified as a flammable compressed gas, are regulated by the Department of Transportation (254). Most other countries have adopted their own regulations (30). Other information on the handling of butadiene is also available (255). As a result of the extensive emphasis on proper and timely responses to chemical spills, a comprehensive handbook from the National Fire Protection Association is available (256). 

A useful classification of sensitizing dyes is the one adopted to describe patents in image technology. In Table 1, the Image Technology Patent Information System (ITPAIS), dye classes and representative patent citations from the ITPAIS file are Hsted as a function of significant dye class. From these citations it is clear that preferred sensitizers for silver haUdes are polymethine dyes (cyanine, merocyanine, etc), whereas other semiconductors have more evenly distributed citations. Zinc oxide, for example, is frequendy sensitized by xanthene dyes (qv) or triarylmethane dyes (see Triphenylmethane and related dyes) as well as cyanines and merocyanines (see Cyanine dyes). 

Smaller companies can benefit by the assistance offered by these larger corporations. It is clear that access to information is of major importance when implementing efficient pollution-preventiou programs. By adopting such programs, industiy is affirming pollution prevention s application as a good business practice and not simply a noble effort. 

In lower voltage ratings, as noted above, the puffer technique is quite prevalent and is adopted by all leading manufacturers.
