Excel to Microsoft Word

Very likely you will want to copy information from Excel and paste it into a Word document. You may want to copy a range of cells, a chart, or even an image of an Excel dialog box. [Pg.44]

There are three ways to copy from Excel to Word by using Copy and Paste, by using the Camera icon on the toolbar or by making a screen shot . Each produces a different product . The first two can be linked dynamically to the source worksheet. [Pg.44]

The text form for parameters uses white space or commas to separate the fields (columns) of the parameter files. First we discuss VBA, a powerful development environment used directly from within the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Typically, Word or Excel is most frequently used, since many LIMS and instrument software directly export reports in these formats. One of the primary advantages with VBA is the rich, intuitive object model that is provided by each of the Microsoft Office applications. In this section, we will illustrate how Mathcad can exchange information with other software, focusing on Microsoft Excel and Word. While Microsoft Office is not designed as a mathematical tool, it is used commonly to write reports. The user may receive information in Word and want to transfer it into Mathcad or vice versa.
