Displays readability

For unknown reasons, reversible (soft) sulfation does not display readable symptoms and the battery may receive a clean bill of health in spite of the anomaly. Only permanent (hard) sulfation that can no longer be corrected agrees with the state-of-health result. An analogy can be made with a person who is suffering from a unique illness that no medical instrument can diagnose. Measurable indicators must also be present here. 

The indicator element measures the signal from the weighing element, and converts it into a readable form. It may be any of several different types, eg, the graduated beam of Figure 3, a Bourdon tube pressure gauge, or a numeric display device. Today (ca 1997), with the increase in automation, the indicator element may not display the weight but may instead transmit it electronically to a controller. 

GORE. The CORE Electronic Chemistry Library is a joint project of Cornell University, OCLC (On-line Computer Library Center), Bell Communications Research (Bellcore), and the American Chemical Society. The CORE database will contain the full text of American Chemical Society Journals from 1980, associated information from Chemical Abstracts Service, and selected reference texts. It will provide machine-readable text that can be searched and displayed, graphical representations of equations and figures, and full-page document images. The project will examine the performance obtained by the use of a traditional printed index as compared with a hypertext system (SUPERBOOK) and a document retrieval system (Pixlook) (6,116). 

Selection 3 from the FTAPSUIT menu (Figure 6.4-3) runs FTAPlus to prepare input for the postprocessor (Figure 6.4-5). To print the contents of the block file, the postprocessor input must contain either the command PRTDNF or FRMBLK (selections 2 and 3 respectively). The command PRTDNF (print equation in disjunctive normal form) allows you to display the contents of a punch file in readable form. FRMBLK (form block) is required to generate an FTAP input file. These items are subject to the same controls as for electronic records and shall be included as part of any human readable form of the electronic record (such as electronic display or printout). 

Two minor tidbits before we move on. First, the printsys () function displays the model matrices or polynomials in a slightly more readable format. Sample usage ... 

The three operators are represented by the three Gensyrn symbols in the list (// GRP-1 lhGRP-2 // GRP-3) which is stretched out across the top of the table to make room for the property lists underneath. These symbols by themselves mean nothing. The useful information is contained in the property lists, which are displayed underneath in vertical tabular format for readability. The property list is a list of pairs of symbols. The first symbol of each pair is the property indicator, which allows access to the second symbol, the property value, by execution of an access function. For example, the PERMOP property is the permutation operator for each group element. If we want the permutation operator for a particular group element, we use the access function GET, to get from the appropriate GENSYM symbol the PERMOP property. 

If the first part mentions the product name then this is the most prominent display of the brand name and the non-proprietary name of the medicine or a list of the active ingredients using approved names where such exist must appear immediately adjacent to the most prominent display of the brand name. The size must be such that the information is easily readable. If the product is one that is required to show an inverted black triangle on its promotional material then the black triangle symbol should also appear adjacent to the product name. That is not, however, a requirement of the code (see supplementary information to Clause 4.3). The requirement of Clause 10 that promotional material and activities should not be disguised should also be borne in mind. 

Select the display that you prefer to use. For most traces shown in this text, we will show the Probe window in full screen. Note also that your probe screen will have a black background. To make the screen captures more readable, the background color of the probe screen has been changed to white for the remainder of this book. This was accomplished by modifying the [PROBE DISPLAY COLORS] section of the pspipce.ini file located in the OrcadLite/PSpice directory. 

The numbers display the power absorbed or sourced by every element in the circuit. Move the numbers around to make the circuit more readable ... 

The descriptors of relative topicity are used in Iwo different ways as they may be derived from inter- or intramolecular combinations. It is prescribed that the descriptor of the former precedes that of the latter combinations nevertheless, extended strings of descriptors can be quite cumbersome. In order to help readability, brackets are added that contain the mfromolecular relative topicities, in accordance with the extension of the Izumi Tai terms described in Section 1.1.3.1. Such brackets are particularly helpful when examples of double stereodifferentiation are to be described (see Section 1.2.2.5.). The SP system is also a powerful tool here its application to the examples previously displayed in Section 1.2.2.5. is straightforward ... 

For additional readability in Figure 2-19, column C was set to display just five decimal places, even though the computer retains many more for its calculations. It does not throw away the digits that are not displayed. You can control the way numbers are displayed in a cell by going to the FORMAT menu, selecting CELLS, and going to the Number tab. 

The electronic signature must be displayed in any human readable form, including printouts and video displays ... 

The implicit requirements in Part 11 include the availability of the tools necessary to display and/or print audit trail records, and associated metadata, in human readable form. Another important use of audit trails is the protection from subsequent unauthorized alteration and destruction, and to permit the detection of security violations and after-the-fact investigations into their cause.

Computers enable important communication interactions between the analyzer and the operator. Alphanumeric displays on monitors or on light-emitting diode arrays provide operator-readable information and signals. The signals may instruct the operator to intervene to replen-... 

Once all imaging parameters are set, data can be acquired and captured. It is important to note that the data may depend on the actual settings (force, scan velocity, feedback loop quality, etc.) therefore, one should note these parameters independently. The data displayed on the screen is typically planefitted to be readable (in case the sample plane does not coincide with the horizontal x, y = 0, 0 plane of the scanner, the image would appear tilted and flat surfaces would appear in saturated colors compare also Sect. 2.2.7). A line-by-line planefit is most often utilized. Here, the data of each captured scan line is normalized by subtracting a first order polynomial fit from the particular line. The captured data, however, should be captured without planefit in order to facilitate meaningful analysis at a later stage (Sect. 2.2.7). 

If raw data are transcribed to a computer database, neither the electronically stored data nor the paper printout can substitute for the original. Information entered into the computer by direct data capture offers two options, however. The laboratory may elect to treat the electronically recorded information or a hard copy printout of the information as raw data. If the hard copy is retained, the magnetic media can be discarded or reused. If a laboratory elects to treat the magnetic media as raw data, it must retain an ability to display the data in readable form for the entire period during which that information is required to be retained. (See 58.195 for a definition of required retention periods.) If a change in computer systems would entail the loss of the... 

The printed name of the signer the date and time when the signature was executed and the meaning (such as review, approval, responsibility, or authorship) associated with the signature. These items are subject to the same controls as for electronic records and shall be included as part of any human readable form of the electronic record (such as electronic display or printout). 

Under the Format menu bar are several options that make your spreadsheet more readable. With the Format/Cells... you can change the way numbers are displayed, the alignment of them within the cell, and the font properties. You can also set a border around some cells, and change the pattern or color (the Color option is inside the Pattern option). You can even protect the spreadsheet or parts of it so others cannot change it. 

Files with extensions MAP, and LST can be created and stored at the direction of the compiler program during compilation. The text for these files many be displayed, however only two files, PROGll.FOR and PROG 11.LST will be displayed in readable form. The files with the extensions OBJ, MAP and EXE will be displayed in machine codes.
