Rosenthal and Baer (1963) then asked themselves if one could induce a tolerance in new-born guinea pigs by injecting (intraperitoneally or subcutaneously) DNCB into these animals it seems that in this case there was a tendency towards decreasing the capacity for sensitization when the guinea pigs became adult. [Pg.68]

In opposition, Schimpf and Filip (1965) were not able to succeed in inducing an immunotolerance (allergo-tolerance) in the same guinea pigs (now adult) by a paranatal treatment consisting of epicutaneous applications of DNCB. [Pg.68]

The primary scope of this book will focus on the analysis of the internal bifurcations within the class of systems with simple dynamics, such as Morse-Smale systems.
