The sufficient supply of pure water is of fundamental importance for achieving the goals of socio-economic development and environmental protection. Enhancing anthropogenic impacts on the environment are of concern here. For instance, the area of freshwater wetlands, which play an important role in natural water purification and in formation of the water cycle, have almost halved in the last 20 years. At the same time, economic assessment puts a value on their losses equivalent to 20,000/ha/yr. About 2% of 10,000 species of freshwater fish are either on the brink of extermination or are extinct. The number of large dams in the world increased front 5,000 in 1950 to more than 45,000 today, the negative ecological consequences of which need no comment. 

The GA receptors have recently been identified 198 298 this has enabled the molecular mechanisms of GA perception and signal transduction in plant growth, development, and environmental response to be elucidated. Combining this with all the other information, we can present the GA signal cascade as follows.

To this end, significant challenges are available for chemists to design new syntheses that are less polluting, and to gain detailed understanding of the scientific facts and of the technical base needed to support sustainable development and environmental protection. 

In addition to the technical developments the scientific applications of chambers are being expanded, for example, the current understanding of secondary organic aerosol formation has been developed principally from environmental chamber studies and chambers have been used even more recently to investigate photolysis processes under real atmospheric conditions. Such new scientific applications are often linked to new technical analytical and other technical developments and environmental chambers offer a perfect platform for testing environmental monitors. 

International efforts to promote sustainable development and environmentally friendly technologies [1]... 

Sustainable development has become the accepted orthodoxy for global economic development and environmental protection since the end of the twentieth century. 

Undoubtedly, both t5qtes of graduates have clearly defined positions in the current exercise of engineering and both are therefore socially necessary. Societies -no matter their wealth, level of socio-economic development, and environmental awareness - require both types of engineers to create or maintain their built environment and thus accelerate their development process. Societies must also work to maintain an efficient proportion of each type of engineer in order to best meet the needs of their communities and state.
