Cream powder

Microcapsules are used in several film coatings other than carbonless paper. Encapsulated Hquid crystal formulations coated on polyester film are used to produce a variety of display products including thermometers. Polyester film coated with capsules loaded with leuco dyes analogous to those used in carbonless copy paper is used as a means of measuring line and force pressures (79). Encapsulated deodorants that release their core contents as a function of moisture developed because of sweating represent another commercial appHcation. Microcapsules are incorporated in several cosmetic creams, powders, and cleansing products (80). 

This method is relatively easy to use for anhydrous systems, but not for emulsions, foods, or biological media where the presence of water is detrimental. The method has been applied for determining antioxidant activity of both individual natural polyphenols and vegetable extracts. Methods based on this one have been used to evaluate the peroxide value in walnuts (Wilson-Kakashita and others 1995), mango seeds (Joseph 1995), almonds (Uthman and others 1998), and coconut cream powder (Yusof and others 2007).

It is common to mix SAPP with starch to aid the addition. This mixture is known as cream powder . When this is mixed in the ratio 2 1 with sodium hydrogen carbonate the combined product can then be added to the flour at 4.7% on the weight of the flour.

Many factors contribute to the initiation of diaper rash, including excess moisture, rubbing and friction, skin contact with urine and feces, and/or allergic reaction to the diaper material or to creams, powder, or wipes. HSDSC instruments that employ batch cells are capable of studying heterogeneous systems and, hence, can be used to directly study industrial products, such as creams, powders, or liquids. Undecylenic acid is available as a foam, ointment, cream, powder, soap, and liquid, all administered topically. It is indicated as an antifungal and antibacterial agent for tinea pedis (athlete s foot), exclusive of the nails and hairy areas. It is also recommended for relief and prevention of diaper rash, itching, burning and chafing, prickly heat, tinea cruris (jock itch), excessive perspiration, and irritation in the groin area and bromhidrosis. 

Bayer and Wiedemarm (1981) reported on the mineralogy of zirconium and its uses as precious stones (zircon, phianite, and dje-valithe are all very hard), mineral raw materials, foundry sand, abrasives, and corrosion-resistant metals. Insoluble zirconium silicates have been used in cosmetic creams, powders, and antiperspirants. Zirconium tetrachloride is a white powder that is very moisture-sensitive (Dressier et al. 1983). 

Fenticlor, a chlorohydroxyphenylsulfide, is used as an antiseptic and fungicide in creams, powders, vaginal creams, and pessaries. Case reports of contact allergy have been published (Dupont 1974). Photoallergy to fenticlor and cross-sensitization between fenticlor and hexachlorophene were described by Burry (1967). 

Uses compound used as fungicide and bactericide for wood and paint preservation and in cooling fluids permitted and used as a cosmetics preservative in products such as shampoos, lotions, creams, powders and baby products...
