The Hydrogen Bus Technology Validation Program in Davis/ Sacramento, California is a multi-district partnership of the City of Davis, Yolo County Transportation District (YCTD), University of California, Davis (UC Davis), UniTrans (Transit authority for the City of Davis and UC Davis), and NRG Tech. [Pg.175]

The objectives were met by a study plan designed to acquire data for seventeen weeks at seven sites throughout the valley. This included both weekly monitoring and dally Intensive sampling of aerosols. The samples were weighed and then analyzed for elemental composition on the UC Davis cyclotron. [Pg.328]

The aerosol samples collected by the SFU were analyzed both gravimetrlcally for total suspended particulate mass less than 15pm, and by particle induced x-ray emission (PIXE) for elemental content. The filters were weighed before and after sampling using a Cahn 25 electrobalance sensitive to Ipg. Typical precision of TSP determined by this analytical method is 0.5pg/m for samples collected under conditions of low aerosol concentrations ( ).
