Tracks video

Film. The film Avatar (2009) illustrated how far 3-D animation had been developed. The production used a technique called performance or motion tracking. Video cameras were attached to computers and focused on the faces of human actors as they performed their parts. In this manner, subtle facial expressions could be transferred to their animated avatars. Backgrounds, props, and associated scenery moved in relation to the actors. [Pg.408]

The Track Properties window displays all of the relevant information about the media file contents of a track. Since there are a few different kinds of tracks in ACID, the information displayed is dependent upon the type of track selected. Many of the properties that are displayed can be modified in this window (see Figure 1.20).
