J) Upper Assembly Grid Tool, DRPii89. A tool with hooks on the end will catch the toggle mechanism and lift the upper assembly grids. The assembly grids will be temporarily stored on platforms oriented as shown on DRP 558 on the spider support ring. 

The moving platen of an injection or compression molding machine to which half of the mold is secured during operatiOTi. The platen is moved either by a hydraulic ram or a toggle mechanism. 

Clamping units support the mold, hold the mold closed during injection, open and close the mold as rapidly as possible, provide for part ejection, and provide mold close protection. The four types of clamps are hydraulic, hydraulically actuated toggle (mechanical), electrically actuated toggle, and hydromechanical. 

Mechanical Press. A press in which bricks (building or refractory) are shaped in a mould by pressure applied mechanically, e.g. by a toggle mechanism, as distinct from the procedure in a hydraulic press. 

The molds are opened and closed by hydraulic cylinders, toggle mechanisms, or combinations of both. These have to be pretty hefty because pressures in the mold can reach several thousand psi and the projected surface area of some parts may be hundreds of square inches. 

Clamping Systems In order to keep the mould halves tightly closed when the melt is being injected under high pressures it is necessary to have a clamping system. This may be either (a) hydraulic or (b) mechanical (toggle) - or some combination of Ae two.

Refractory shapes are generally produced on a mechanical toggle press, screw press, or hydraulic press. Some special shapes are produced by air-ramming which is similar to hand molding, except that reinforced steel molds are required. Special shapes can also be formed by slip easting and hot pressing. 

This technology allows the sensitive analysis of small conformational changes and will ultimately allow an understanding of the receptor activation mechanism. These studies have shown two distinct switch mechanisms in the / -adrenergic receptor, both located in the third intracellular loop and the cytoplasmic end of transmembrane helix VI an ionic lock mechanism that involves an interaction of the cytoplasmic ends of helix VI and helix III (and is reported by a label in position 271 of the receptor), and a rotamer toggle switch mechanism that is reported by a label in position 265 (Yao et al, 2006).
