Toggle

A remarkable feature of phosphazene polymers of types (1) and (2) is that appropriate substituents (which are readily attached) can be used as toggle switches to turn several properties, such as hydrolytic stabiHty and electrical conductivity, on and off (1).

The overhead eccentric jaw crusher Nordberg, Telsmith Jnc., and Cedarapids) falls into the second type. These are single-toggle machines. The lower end of the jaw is pulled back against the toggle by a tension rod and spring. 

Clamping Systems In order to keep the mould halves tightly closed when the melt is being injected under high pressures it is necessary to have a clamping system. This may be either (a) hydraulic or (b) mechanical (toggle) - or some combination of Ae two. 

Before printing the CID screen on a color printer, hit CTRL-B on the keyboard. This toggles OFF the Force Black/White printing flag. This flag was implemented and turned ON by default. You can toggle between ON and OFF status by hitting CTRL-B at any time.

A press, a homemade toggle job, or a hot-stamping machine can be used to perform the cold working operation. When heat is required (usual requirement) the male forming die should be about 132 to 138°C (270 to 290°F). Pressure should be maintained for about 10 seconds. This time can be reduced if the product still retains residual molding heat or is preheated. The recommended preheating temperature is from 80 to 110 C (175 to 230°F). 

The FI function key toggles a help menu in and out of the bottom section of the screen and provides guidance to the user in the specification of valid entries for Task Requirements and Chemical Attributes. 

We can find the list of pattern selections with on-line help. The command hold allows us to add more plots to the same figure, and hold works as a toggle. That is why we do not have to state "on" and "off explicitly. 

Now, go to the LTI Viewer window and select Import under the File pull-down menu. A dialog box will pop out to help import the transfer function objects. By default, a unit step response will be generated. Click on the axis with the right mouse button to retrieve a popup menu that will provide options for other plot types, for toggling the object to be plotted, and other features. With a step response plot, the Characteristics feature of the pop-up menu can identify the peak time, rise time, and settling time of an underdamped response.

Similarly if you toggle the enable pin at a certain rate in many ICs you can get to see current overshoots too. This often depends on allowing the input capacitor to discharge below the UVLO threshold, but not to the point where it hits the internal POR (power on reset) threshold. Because in that case, if you suddenly enable the IC, it has no soft-start anymore, and you will hit max duty cycle, and possibly staircase if the current limit circuitry is not well designed.
