Tight wrap

Coiled wire. The coil is manufactured by tightly wrapping wire onto a rod such that the outside diameter of the coil is slightly larger than the inside diameter of the tube. This ensures that when it is fitted into the tube there is no movement when in service. The coil functions as nonintegral tube roughness.

Figure 2 shows a schematic diagram of a complete battery (lithium-ion battery). Several cells as the one shown in Fig. 1 are wrapped together in parallel. The Bowie-Dick Test Pack The Bowie-Dick standard test pack consists of a series of folded stacked towels.
