The European Research Area

Programme (FP6). The FP6 is the framework for the EU activity in the field of science, research, and innovation. The main objective of the FP6 is to contribute to the creation of the European Research Area (ERA) by improving integration and coordination of research in Europe. One of seven priority thematic areas is Life Science, Genomics and Biotechnology for Health. 

In this context the European Commission in Brussels is supporting research infrastructures in the framework 6 specific programme on stmcturing the European research area. The overall objective of this activity is to promote the development of a fabric of research infrastructures of the highest quality and performance in Europe, and their optimum use on a European scale based on the needs expressed by the research community. The ambition of such Integrating Activity should be to induce a long-term integrating effect on the way research infrastructures operate, evolve and interact with similar infrastructures and with their users, thereby contributing to structure the European Research Area ...

Republic, but also within the European research area. Results of its work with practices in the field of applied research, as well as in the scientific lifelong learning program, justify the fact that we are focused, above all, on the needs of those who manage occupational safety and health. Mutual cooperation with other academic institutions and those from the field set up conditions for a successful process. We make the most of our cooperation in this field, especially with Germany, the United States, the Czech Republic, and others. 

Throughout his almost thirty years of scientific work, he has published as an author and co-author a total of ten books (five in the SR and five abroad), two chapters in encyclopaedias by CRC Press in the United States, twenty-three articles in scholarly journals abroad, and nineteen articles in the SR. He took an active part in seventy-three international conferences. He is the author and co-author of forty-seven lectures and publications related to the field of quality of scientific and educational activities within the European high education area, control of science and engineering within the European research area, as well as in the field of technology transfer. 

The main objective of FP6 is to contribute to the creation of a true "European Research Area" (ERA). ERA is a vision for the future of research in Europe, an internal market for science and technology. It fosters scientific excellence, competitiveness and innovation through the promotion of better co-operation and coordination between relevant actors at all levels. 

More generally, a new impetus will be given to the integration of all European research efforts, especially in the light of the current discussions around the Commission Communication Towards a European research area [5].

This study aims to calculate the critical loads of acidity, eutrophication and heavy metal (Pb, Cd) compounds in the vast area of Eurasia along the natural gas pipeline Yamal-West and quantitatively estimate the environmental risk at the surrounding ecosystems. The relevant research was conducted during 1994-2000 for total pipeline length (>3,000 km) including 21 gas pumping stations, from the northernmost part at the Yamal peninsula (north of West Siberia) up to the central western part of European Russia.
