Post the summary OSHA Form 300A only (not the log) by February 1 of the year following the year covered by the form. Keep it posted until April 30 of that year. Retain the log and summary for 5 years following the year to which they pertain. Do not send the completed forms to OSHA unless specifically asked to do so.

OSHA Form No. 200 - OSHA requires all private sector employers to maintain a log and summary (OSHA form no. 200) of occupational injuries and illnesses for each of their establishments. (Exempted are small employers with no more than ten employees.) This log and summary must be made available for inspection and copying by current and former employees or their representatives. Refusal to provide access to this log is a violation of 1904.7 of the Act.

In summary, if an employer or one of his employees chooses not to comply with an OSHA regulation, OSHA has grounds for a willful violation. Intent is not a factor. 

Each State must provide notice of its intent to adopt either policies or procedures identical to those set out in this instruction, or alternative policies and procedures that are at least as effective. State policies and procedures must be adopted within six months of issuance of this instruction. The preparation and use of Laboratory Chemical Safety Summaries as described here are consistent with the Chemical Hygiene Plans required for every laboratory under the OSHA Laboratory Standard. Thus, the identification of substances that meet the OSHA criteria for "particularly hazardous substances" or "select carcinogens" should be facilitated by the use of these summaries. 

OSHA Form 300A—Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses. This form contains a summary of your company s annual illnesses and injuries, and it must be posted each year for your employees to see. A company executive must certify its accuracy. 

Post your injury/illness summary each year Your employees have a right to know about the injuries and illnesses occurring in their workplace. To that end, you must post the OSHA Form 300A in a visible location by February 1st each year, and leave it posted until April 30th. The posted form should contain information from the previous calendar year. 

This Iryury and Ulmss Incident Report is one of the first forms you must fill out when a recordable work-related iiyury or illness has occurred. Together with the Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses and the accompanying Summary, these forms help the employer and OSHA develop a picture of the extent and severity of work-related incidents. 

A numerical solution of hedonic labor market equilibrium requires specific functional forms to represent workers preferences, firms outputs, and the distribution functions of risk aversion and efficiency of safety measures. OSHA CPLs provide a better understanding of OSHA requirements and help to clarily compliance with an OSHA standard or to instruct compliance officers when they inspect employer compliance with many OSHA standards.
