The Code of Federal Regulations Title 29 part 1926, covers compliance safety issues for construction companies. This document is a consolidation of OSHA standards which are applicable to the construction industry. In publishing this standard, every e ort was made to identify all the applicable General Industry standards from 29 CFR 1910. It should be noted that, under certain circumstances, other parts of 29 CFR 1910 may also be relevant. This is a short summary of the requirements needed to establish a safe work environment and should be used as a guide for compliance for companies, facilities, and other businesses. [Pg.426]

Subpart B contains an interpretation and the applicability of construction health and safety standards to work performed under contract to government agencies.
