Structure of the document

The standard requires the supplier to prepare a quality manual covering the requirements of the standard and also requires the quality manual to include or make reference to the quality system procedures and outline the structure of the documentation used in the system.

The structure of the documentation also has to be outlined in the quality manual. 

The default way of displaying or browsing any XML-compliant language, such as CML, is as a so-called tree view, outlining the structure of the document (Figure 8-1) but to which no style has been applied. Most modern Web browsers will support this feature (we recommend Firefox). 

It is recommended that the structure of the OQs should match that of the FDS to provide a simple mechanism for demonstrating that all of the functions of the FDS have been tested. Each test on OQ should also contain references to the functions they are demonstrating. If the structures of the documents cannot be linked, it will be necessary to provide some form of cross-reference document which will provide this information. The OQ may have one or more functional test scripts... 

The present document model can easily be adapted and refined to reflect the peculiarities of a certain organization. We expect that such an adaptation can be largely restricted to a refinement of the details of the document structure and the content description. We do not expect that the overall structure of the document model will have to be changed. Additional document types can easily be added to the existing document model structure. 

As originally conceived, HTML focused on the structure of the document. Later it was improved to provide more formatting features. In spite of this evolution, HTML is still quite simple. An HTML text contains tags that serve as instructions for structuring, formatting, linking, and so on. Input forms and questionnaires can also be coded in HTML. A simple example of an HTML text is as follows ... 

The Smitheries and Foundries BREF (Best Available Techniques reference document) reflects an information exchange carried out under Article 16(2) of Council Directive 96/61/EC. This executive summary is intended to be read in conjunction with the BREF s Preface, which explains the structure of the document, its objectives, usage and legal terms. The executive summary describes the main findings, the principal BAT conclusions and the associated emission/consumption levels. It can be read and understood as a stand-alone document but, as a summary, it does not present all the complexities of the full BREF text. It is therefore not intended as a substitute for the full BREF text in BAT decision making. 

DTD Document type definition. A file associated with an SGML or XML document, giving a formalized description of the tags used and the structure of the document, as well as special entities that may be present. 

NOTE The physical structure of the documentation should vary depending upon a number of factors such as the size of the system, its complexity and the organizational requirements. 

The structure of the document is as follows. The next section presents the design of the testing framework from [1] and the implementation we developed. Following Is an example of an executive summary developed to accompany the presentation shown as Figure 2.2. Executive summaries highiight the key points of a detailed presentation for easy access. The longer and more complex your presentation, the greater the value of an executive summary, which should be organized to parallel the structure of the longer document. 

There are three different approaches to a thermodynamic theory of continuum that can be distinguished. These approaches differ from each other by the fundamental postulates on which the theory is based. All of them are characterized by the same fundamental requirement that the results should be obtained without having recourse to statistical or kinetic theories. None of these approaches is concerned with the atomic structure of the material. Therefore, they represent a pure phenomenological approach. The principal postulates of the first approach, usually called the classical thermodynamics of irreversible processes, are documented. The principle of local state is assumed to be valid. The equation of entropy balance is assumed to involve a term expressing the entropy production which can be represented as a sum of products of fluxes and forces. This term is zero for a state of equilibrium and positive for an irreversible process. The fluxes are function of forces, not necessarily linear. However, the reciprocity relations concern only coefficients of the linear terms of the series expansions. Using methods of this approach, a thermodynamic description of elastic, rheologic and plastic materials was obtained. 

Before administration of an otic preparation, the primary health care provider examines the ear and external structures surrounding the ear and prescribes the drug indicated to treat the disorder. The nurse may be responsible for examining the outer structures of the ear, namely the earlobe and the skin around the ear. The nurse documents a description of any drainage or the presence of impacted cerumen. 

The first item is easily treated by considering the eigen-modes of the system and expanding the pressure field on a basis formed by these modes. The second item is less well documented but is clearly important. The presence of boundaries not only modifies the structure of the mean flow but also influences the flame dynamics. This is demonstrated in a set of recent experiments in which the lateral confinement was varied systematically [45]. 

In addition to a narrative, it is useful to have an index of the vocabulary. The glossary s purpose is to link the formal terms back to the real world. Rather than a single monolithic table at the end of the document, the definitions could be introduced as needed in the context of the document structure, together with additional explanation.2...
