Star Grading

One of the objectives of the NOSA system was to present an ongoing challenge and provide encouragement and reward. The audit score is measured against the achievement of prescribed minimum standards and is converted to a percentage. In

Dissolve KOH in water. Slowly add Buncosperse LP while agitating. Keep temperature below 180F. Add TKPP and stir until dissolved. Add Bunco NPS-816, then Star Grade Sodium Silicate and blend until uniform. 

The total points allocated vary with the audit systems, but are aU equated to a percentage to indicate what star grading or score is awarded. 

Under the NOSA rating system, the performance evaluated is based on 12 months past experience and the star grading is only valid for 12 months. To achieve a star rating, a percentage effort must be obtained and the DHR must be below a certain figure. Different systems have slightly different scores (Model 8.3).

Now take another example from the service industry accommodation. There are various categories, such as rented, leased, and purchased. In the rented category there are hotels, inns, guest houses, apartments, etc. It would be inappropriate to compare hotels with guest houses or apartments with inns. They are each in a different class. Hotels are a class of accommodation within which are grades such as 5 star, 4 star, 3 star, etc., indicating the facilities offered. 

Category or rank given to entities having the same functional use but different requirements for quality (ISO 8402) e.g. hotels are graded by star rating, automobiles are graded by model. 

Note There are also other grades of casing available from various manufacturers. For example, Lone Star offers steel grades SS-95 for sour service, S-80 and S-95 for nominal service. Mannesmann offers a C-90 for sour service and SOO-95, 124, 140 for high-strength service. There is also available a tentative API grade V-150 = 150,000 psi, = 180,000 psi), which has... 

The instrumental analysis for the identification of UV filters degradation products formed during the fungal treatment process was performed by means of HPLC coupled to tandem mass spectrometry using a hybrid quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometer (HPLC-QqTOF-MS/MS). Chromatographic separation was achieved on a Hibar Purospher STAR HR R-18 ec. (50 mm x 2.0 mm, 5 pm, from Merck). In the optimized method, the mobile phase consisted of a mixture of HPLC grade water and acetonitrile, both with 0.15% formic acid. The injection volume was set to 10 pL and the mobile phase flow-rate to 0.3 mL/min. 

Chromium. Much smaller variations are evident in this isotope usually a few e. They are not correlated with Cr variations but with the Mn/Cr elemental ratios. They are also present in the higher metamorphic grades with even larger spreads. Cr is not produced directly in stars but through Mn which then decays to Cr. These arguments favor the interpretation of Cr as solely due to in situ Mn decay (Birck et al. 1999).

There was one star student who became a key member of the staff of the Chemistry Department — Christina Cruickshank Miller.77 Christina Miller was born on 29 August 1899 in Coatbridge, the elder of two sisters. In grade school, Miller developed an interest and aptitude towards mathematics. At the time, she was told that, as a woman, she could only use her mathematical aptitude towards a career as a school teacher. Unfortunately, she had become deaf as a result of childhood measles and rubella, and this was considered a major impediment...

The star-point connection to earth is provided with a current transformer and a sensitive relay. The relay (51 G) is of a definite time delay or inverse time delay type so that it can be graded as back-up protection to earth fault relays at downstream feeders and consumers.
