Solid block cleaners

Another area of investigation is surface safety. Households contain many different surfaces that may be soiled. If a consumer uses these products as true all-purpose cleaners, they will be carried from room to room, encountering many of these surfaces. It is wise to test the effect of a cleaning formulation on various items, depending on local materials. This is done most simply by immersing a solid block of material in the cleaner, or by letting a pool of the cleaner contact a representative surface. Most specialty cleaners come as water-based liqnid formnlations, althongh there are exceptions. Drain cleaners now have liqnid as well as powder forms. Antomatic toilet bowl cleaners come both as liqnids in elaborate dosing containers and as solid blocks or pncks. Oven cleaners tend to come as aerosols or liqnid sprays. Most of the bathroom cleaners, shower treatments, toilet-bowl cleaners, mildew removers, and the like are liqnids. 

Acid Cleaners are used with extreme caution. Bowl cleaners are generally acidic in nature, and are available in powder, preferred solid block or liquid form. The function of toilet cleaners is to remove effectively fecal soils, lime and rust deposits, and urinary calculus from commodes and urinals.

In order to avoid the blocking of the nozzle due to the solid particles and agglomerates In the BCO, a mechanical cleaning system was integrated in the atomisation system.
