In the field, a rotameter connected to the crucible holder is used to monitor flow rates each day. We recently Invested in a direct-reading rotameter with a range of 3-21 Lpm, and we anticipate better recognition of flow problems during sampling surveys.

In addition, USFDA analyzed 8731 animal feed samples from 1988 through 2003. No triazine detections were reported in any of the feed samples. Milk was also analyzed in the FDA monitoring program, and out of a total of 866 milk samples surveyed in 1991 and 1992, no triazine residues were detected (USFDA, 1991,1992).

Anorexia nervosa is much less common in males, the overall prevalence being approximately one tenth to one twentieth of that in females (Lindberg and Hjern 2003). There is little information on exposure-response relationships for the induction of asthma. There are several explanations for this. Estimates of workers chemical exposure are needed, which usually require a sampling survey of representative current exposures and assessment of past exposure. Making use of measurements made to document compliance with regulations is rarely sufficient because such measurements generally focus only on those jobs and tasks likely to cause violations of occupational standards. 

Joaquin Valley, California. Selection was based on well sampling survey results conducted during the summer of 1983 (5). Both soil coring locations consisted of agricultural fields as close as possible to one of the previously sampled wells. Investigators may design special studies, such as telephone and door-to-door surveys. If a population is systematically sampled, survey studies may provide population-based incidence data and may be the best source of data on less severe cases. The primary limitation of survey data is recall bias, which increases as the retrospective length of the study increases.
