A comprehensive programme should be developed for the review. This programme will determine the scope of the review and will be the key document for conducting the review. The programme should also be sent to the nuclear power plant well in advance in order to allow timely preparation of the review. The programme will be the basis for the definition of the preparatory work to be done by the plant, such as the preparation of presentations and documents which the plant should provide. [Pg.52]

In-honse events of interest to other plants should be shared with the industry to prevent the occnrrence of similar events. The effectiveness of the operating experience review programme should be assessed periodically to identify areas of weakness that require improvement. [Pg.35]
