American Academy of Pediatrics. Caring for Your Baby and Young Child Birth to Age Five. 5 th ed. New York Bantam, 2009. A resource for parents that covers everything from preparing for childbirth to toilet training to nurturing a child s self-esteem. 

Methods submitted include single- and multi-analyte methods for parent compounds and for degradates of concern. Pesticide regulatory methods are needed for each type of environmental matrix fate methods may be designed for soil, water, plant tissue, animal tissue or air, but are predominantly for soil and water. Analytical methods need to include a complete description of the procedure, materials and equipment in order to be completely reproducible. Possibly as a result of this illness, the child was left with a permanent curvature of the spine. This disability was to have a profound effect on the development of Stanley Peat, since, denied an outlet for his energies in active sports and games, he was thrown back onto his mental resources for amusement and interest.

The challenge for parents at this point is to welcome the child back ("We want you to know we are always here for you"), to expect accountability for decisions made ("We want you to take care of any unmet obligations you incurred away from home"), and to be clear that the stay is a time-limited one ("We expect you to use this temporary period back home to regroup your resources, to rethink your plans, and to prepare for your return to independent living").
