Quantity over Quality

We also note that the approach of quantity over quality of documentation is preferred by many organizations. This course of action will lead to a general disillusionment with the validation process and should be avoided at all costs. A good installation qualification should fit on one or two sides of a page (three with boilerplate, if that is unavoidable). A user requirements specification (URS) may be no more than a paragraph. To choose quantity over quality, mass over cadres, training over education is a valid policy decision. However, such an expansion of student population in federal universities and the dilution of federal education resources makes it difficult to keep pace with the cutting edge and to provide for, or anticipate, future needs - imperiling Brazil s future engineers project capability. 

Just like all herbal medicinal preparations, C. sativa should be standardized if extracts or whole plant material are to be used for medicinal purposes. Basic requirements are that all detectable constituents should be known, but also a sustainable quahty control system must be established to achieve the same quahty over all batches. For industrial use of cannabis, standardization could also be necessary to equahze the quality of the product. However, it must be stated that cultivation for this purposes is mostly performed outdoors. Outdoor growth makes standardization of the product difficult due to the environmental changes. For this reason the Dutch medicinal C. sativa is grown under strictly controllable conditions, and therefore indoors, by the company Bedrocan. At this company clones are used for breeding to maintain high standards for quantity and quality. After a strictly selective breeding procedure a plant fine has been estabhshed fulfilhng all criteria as a herb for medicinal use. 

Loss of carbon compounds from roo(s, or rhizodeposition, is the driving force for the development of enhanced microbial populations in the rhizosphere in comparison with the bulk soil. Although rhizodeposition is a general phenomenon of plant roots, the compounds lost from different species or even cultivars can vary markedly in quality and quantity over time and space. 

The value of (H) for each solute was determined in each solvent mixture over 10 different linear velocities that covered the normal practical range of velocities used in LC. Measurements at each velocity were taken in triplicate which resulted in a minimum of 180 values of (H) being taken for each solute. Each data set, from each solvent mixture, was fitted to each dispersion equation and the values for the respective constants (A), (B), (C), etc. calculated, together with the index of determination for each fitting, it ia seen that the data was sufficient in both quantity, and quality to be able to dentify the most appropriate dispersion equation with some confidence. The results obtained are shown in table 2. 

Water sources for direct thermal uses range in temperature from less than 30°C to over 90°C. Resources in desirable locations can often be reached by simply drilling a few hundred feet into the earth. Hot water cannot be economically transported very far. All direct thermal uses of hydrothermal eneigy are tied to the quantity and quality of nearby hydrothermal resources.

The variability of these parameters over time as well as the quantity and quality of nutrient inputs to the system are used to account for the diversity of species within this system (Hutchinson 1961 Richerson et al. 1970 Tilman 1976). An accurate description of an ecosystem should, in some way, correspond to its multidimensional nature. 

The European Union Food Supplements Directive requires that supplements are demonstrated to be safe both in quantity and quality. Supplements that have been proved to be safe may be sold without prescription over the counter . It also requires that supplements should not claim to be drugs but can claim to be beneficial to health.
