This case study was carried out in the Research and Teaching Faboratory of Applied Botany under the auspices of the Department of Biology of the University of Joensuu, Finland (N 62° 36 E 29° 40 ) from 1999 to 2003 as a part of the larger project, Quinolizidine alkaloids in arctic and sub-arctic flora . This large project explores the broader problem of QAs occurring in... [Pg.215]

Gas-Zero Emissions Plant (ZEP). Alstom Power s Cas-ZEP project explores methods to capture the CO2 as it is produced in a natural gas-fired power plant without substantial reductions in plant efficiencies. [Pg.69]

To access the Visual Basic Editor, choose Macro from the Tools menu and then Visual Basic Editor from the submenu. The Visual Basic Editor screen contains two important windows the Code window and the Project window. Procedures are viewed or typed in the Code window, which corresponds to a module sheet in Excel 95. Use the Project window to select a particular code module from all the available modules in open workbooks. These are displayed in the Project window, which is usually located on the left side of the screen. If the Project window is not visible, choose Project Explorer from the... [Pg.243]

In the Project Explorer window you will see a hierarchy "tree" with a node for each open workbook. In the example illustrated in Figure 13-3, a new workbook. Workbooks, has been opened. The node for Workbooks has a node (a folder icon) labeled Microsoft Excel Objects click on the folder icon to display the nodes it contains — an icon for each sheet in the workbook and an additional one labeled ThisWorkbook. If you double-click on any one of these nodes you will display the code sheet for it, but these code sheets are for a special type of procedure called an automatic procedure (see Chapter 18). [Pg.243]

Event-handler procedures are not written in the usual VBA modules, but in the code modules associated with a worksheet or workbook. For example, to install a new menu command when a particular workbook is opened, put the event-handler procedure in the code window for ThisWorkbook (use the Project Explorer to locate the node for ThisWorkbook, then click on it to display the Code window). [Pg.314]

Starting from the IPE project explorer window (on the far left of the screen), right-click on the Main Area and select Add Project Component, as shown in Figure 6.3a. [Pg.332]

Computer project) Explore the area-preserving Henon map (6 = 1). [Pg.451]

At this point, the equipment items have been sized by Aspen IPE (because the Size ICARUS Project Components button was checked in the Map dialog box), whose calculations are based upon the simulator data, as well as the default values specified earlier. As each equipment item is sized, it appears in the Aspen IPE Main window as a list that is, the List window. Note that the Project Explorer window displays the Process View. [Pg.800]

The two developmental projects in this theme area include a project to demonstrate cellular X-ray imaging using a compact x-ray laser system. A second project explores applications of coherent ant-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy, such as analysis of individual tri-glyceride rich lipoproteins, leukemic B and T cells and dmg monitoring in individual cells. [Pg.273]

The results from the analysis performed by CRIOP, OCCO and SPAR-H may influence human dependability. We suggest that further work in the space domain perform several pilot projects exploring CRIOP, OCCO and SPAR-H. [Pg.977]
