Processor Contract

It is usually consider a subgroup to the custom processor. They have little involvement in the business of their customer. They usually just sell machine time. [Pg.290]

Toller An outsourced manufacturing company contracted to process materials to another company s specifications. Sometimes called third party service provider, toll processor, supplier of outside services, external contract manufacturer, contract processor, contract manufacturer, custom chemical manufacturer. [Pg.217]

Large quantities of butane are shipped under contract standards rather than under national or worldwide specifications. Most of the petrochemical feedstock materials are sold at purity specifications of 95—99.5 mol %. Butane and butane—petroleum mixtures intended for fuel use are sold worldwide under specifications defined by the Gas Processors Association, and the specifications and test methods have been pubHshed (28). Butanes may be readily detected by gas chromatography. Butanes commonly are stored in caverns (29) or refrigerated tanks. [Pg.403]

Alternatively, the farmer can also contract the processor for his processing service, leaving the farmer to market the product himself. [Pg.137]

In order to monitor the flavor of their products more closely, the Florida Citrus Processors Association has contracted with the USDA Processed Products Branch to operate a taste panel in which current FCOJ production is tested on a weekly basis. The panel consists of local consumers (generally housewives) and personnel from each of the participating plants (other types of citrus products have been evaluated in the past). Panelists rate samples on a 9-point scale from a low of "extremely poor" to a high of "excellent". Juices are ranked according to flavor score and a copy of the rankings are sent to each processor with only that particular processor s product identified (3). [Pg.320]

There will be an expansion of the domestic market as the supermarkets start to seriously trade in organic product and a critical mass of organic processors gain a foothold. Longer term contracts will assist in providing opportunities for larger conversions to take place. Investors looking for export opportunities will be keen to see an expansion of the domestic market to enable them to maintain a fallback position should the export market fail for their product. [Pg.208]

Process sludge off-site through contract dewatering or other means. A limited number of municipalities offer this as a service to their industrial discharge customers. Also, several private waste processors offer this service in North America. [Pg.2401]

In collaboration with another ongoing DOE project, Fuel Processing Based on ACR for Stationary PEM Fuel Cells (contract No. DE-FC02-97EE50488), the component design of a fuel processor has been completed and the system is being fabricated. The fabrication is expected to be complete by July 2002. [Pg.170]

The PEM fuel cell stack system consists of the fuel cell stack and supporting gas, thermal and water management systems as shown in Figure 1. Overall system performance depends on the careful integration of these subsystems. The system developed under this contract was designed to accept reformed gasoline from a fuel processor. Development of the fuel processor was not part of this program. [Pg.370]

The purchase prices of organically produced animals to be fattened or to be slaughtered are determined by practicing a percentage mark up on the price of the same animals obtained in the conventional way. It can also be determined by specifie supply contracts in which the piuchase price of the animal to be bred is linked to that established for its sale. Only one processor gives the supplier a priee, which is connected to the breeding production cost. [Pg.55]

We thank Dale L. Bodian and Brian K. Shoichet for their help. We thank the Computer Graphics Laboratory (supported by National Institutes of Health RR-01081) for use of their facilities for parts of this project. Partial support was received from the National Institutes of Health GM-31497 (IDK) GM-39552 (IDK), GM-07175 (GLS), and GM-29072 to Peter Kollman. The Floating Point Systems 264 array processor was purchased with grant support from National Science Foundation DMB-84-13762 and National Institutes of Health RR-02441. Assistance from the Macromolecular Workbench supported by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency under contract N00014-86-K0757 administered by the Office of Naval Research is also appreciated. [Pg.68]
