Print report

Computerized Aggregate of Reliability Parameters (CARP) A computer code developed by SAIC to aggregate data sets into a single generic set determine uncertainty bounds (5th and 95th percentiles) fit raw data to statistical distributions and print reports documenting determinations made. 

Data analysis routines may change with time, and it is desirable to be able to reanalyze old data with new analysis software. Our tensile test analysis software creates plots of engineering stress as a function of engineering strain, as illustrated in Figure 3. Our flexure test software plots maximum fiber stress as a function of maximum fiber strain, with the option of including Poisson s ratio in the calculations. Both routines generate printed reports which present the test results in tabular form, as illustrated in Figure 4. 

Demonstrate that the printed, hand-signed copy has sufficient information to link the report to a unique electronic record (date, time printed, name of person printing report, file name, date/... 

Reporting water analyses is most usually carried out using report pads. All service companies have various types of documents and multicopy report pads available, on which results can be tabulated. Many large customers also have their own specially printed report pads, and those that do not will create them from blank log books. There is little to choose between any of the document systems. The main requirements are to have the information written down and for that information to be readily available for inspection and interpretation. Today many organizations use SPC software programs, and information can be received directly from remote automatic... 

Requirements or instructions for capturing data (e.g., screen prints, report printing)... 

Workstations. Workstations are the most powerful computers in the system, capable of performing functions not normally available in other units. A workstation acts both as an arbitrator unit to route internodal communications and as the database server. An operator interface is supported, and various peripheral devices are coordinated through the workstations. Computationally intensive tasks, such as real-time optimization or model predictive control, are implemented in a workstation. Operators supervise and control processes from these workstations. Operator stations may be connected directly to printers for alarm logging, printing reports, or process graphics.

At any point during a session, the user can ask for an explanation of the results, browse the system s knowledge, or revert to an earlier stage of the process to modify the specification and obtain another formulation. The user can also save formulations (along with their associated product specifications) and generate printed reports. 

Medium of reporting - Printed or electronic Some companies begin by gradually making more sustainability information available on their corporate website others begin by producing a printed report, supplemented by additional information on the website. 

Demo that the name, date/time, and meaning are included as part of any human readable form of the electronic record, including display and printed report. 

It is useful to allow for adding additional information to a section that may not be part of a printed report, but helps the operator in organizing and searching through the document contents. The following supporting information is useful ... 

Comments Any textual comment from coworkers or approvers that are helpful for identifying contents or for discussion threads. Comments should typically not appear in the printed report, but they should be searchable, too. 

Run/Print Reports/Templates. This selection enables the user to specify run-time parameters, create run files, and invoke the MEPAS model. Similarly, all printing is done from this menu option, including generation of input data lists and intermediate and final reports. 

Transport and Exposure Analysis. When the Run/Print Reports/ Worksheets option is chosen at the main menu, a submenu is displayed with selection options that enable the user to execute the MEPAS transport and exposure codes and print results from the model run.

Any type of watch can be used to identiiy the predetermined times of observations. Computers can also be used to determine the schedule of daily observations. Another alternative to help analysts decide when to make daily observations is a random reminder. A pocket-sized instrument beeps at random times, letting analysts know when to make the next observation. Electronic clipboards with optional work samphng software can also be extremely helpful. For example, the OS-3 Plus recorder (see Section 2.2) is available with a work sampling program that permits the scheduling of random observations and the performance rating of individual readings. It so produces a summary statistics and formatted printed reports. 

The entire algorithm is repeated for aU the days that are to be scheduled. An important output from the algorithm is the printed reports giving the schedules and who is to work each shift. The full-time people have been assigned using the method as outlined in this section. The part-time people will be assigned using the work of Section 3.4.

Anderson and Covert (1967) have described a computer search system for the retrieval of infrared data. The system uses an IBM 7080 computer to search the data on magnetic tape for about 100,000 compounds, 90,000 of which are from the ASTM collection. Eastman Organic Chemicals, Rochester, New York 14650, runs a service based on this system. One can send copies of the infrared curve or curves of unknown compounds and ask for service under the catalogue number Eastman No. 6070. The computer output is a printed report listing in order of best probable match the names of up to 25 compounds most closely resembling the unknown compound. This search service supplies names of compounds only, not infrared spectra. 

Hesse was actively involved in the development of the turbine proposed by Lester A. Pelton (1829-1909) by providing the original sketch of a split bucket. As stated by Rouse it is of note that whereas Pelton experimented first in this field of hydromachinery, with buckets improvised from oyster cans, a model made from patterns supplied by Pelton had been tested in 1883 by Hesse in his hydraulic laboratory . Pelton took out a second patent of his turbine in 1889 on small details, and this was followed by others on improvements of the bucket shape and in 1900 on the first needle nozzle. Hesse s laboratory appears to have been the first in the USA. Unfortunately, all that is known about it is found only in a printed report published in 1883, supplemented by a colleague of Hesse relating to the efficiency of a Pelton imit. 

The results can be placed on any one of several read-out devices, a strip chart recorder, a digital voltmeter, or a printed report from a computer. 

Read-out devices that produce printed data also are available. These devices produce a printed report of the analytical results which can be treated by any desired computer calculation to present final results of the analysis. The data are not subject to human error and a permanent record is obtained. 

The final step in the process is to print reports. A number of reports are usually available. The most important one is the report that lists the slitting patterns in a tabular format. This report lists each individual pattern, along with the slit coils produced on the pattern and the master coils used for the pattern. A sample tabular pattern report is shown in Fig. 1. This report is used by the scheduler to schedule the actual production runs.
