Let us suppose that we are supplied with some unspecified means of solving number theoretic problems a kind of oracle as it were. We will not go any further into the nature of this oracle than to say that it cannot be a machine. With the help of the oracle we could form a new kind of machine (call them o-machines), having as one of its fundamental processes that of solving a given number theoretic problem. The alternative method of sample extrac tion is termed the ctoss-sti eam samphng method, or ci o.s.s-belt when used in conjunc tiou with a belt conveyor. Sample extraction typically take place with a belt conveyor in motion. However, with a rotary table-feeder conveyor, extractions are made with the table stopped. A cutter can perform extractions by this means from a machined flat surface with neghgible...

For larger motors, the next degree of protection is weather-protected, Type I (WPI), which is an open machine with ventilating passages con-stnicted to minimize the entrance of rain, snow, and airborne particles (o the electric parts. 

Service factor is mentioned nowhere in the NEMA standards for large machines. There is no standard for temperature rise or other characteristics at the service factor overload. In fact, the standards explicitly state that the temperature rise tables are for motors with I.O service factor. Neither standard synchronous nor enclosed large induction motors have included service factor for several years.
