Clothing washing

If caustic soda should come in contact with the eyes, they should be flooded immediately and for at least 15 min, keeping the eyeflds apart. Are there any alternative chemicals which can be used to eliminate hazards (e.g., the use of lithium metaborate fusion rather than hydrofluoric acid as a dissolution procedure) The protocol should include details of any required checks on the control measures to be adopted, and their frequency (e.g., cleaning of protective clothing, washing down of fume cupboards). 

These Insoluble soaps separate as scum in water and are useless as cleansing agent. In fact these are hlnderance to good washing, because the precipitate adheres onto the fibre of the cloth as gummy mass. Hair washed with hard water looks duU because of this sticky precipitate. Dye does not absorb evenly on cloth washed with soap using hard water, because of this gummy mass. 

Wear a dust mask, shower cap and clean clothes. Wash the work area down with disinfectant before starting work and make sure the room has no drafts. 

For alkali on the clothes wash with dilute acetic or boric acid, and remove remaining acid with ammonium carbonate solution.
