Except for a relatively small (<500 million ton) lignite deposit in northern Ontario s James Bay area, the Central region (i.e., Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba), which accommodates some 70% of the country s population and the greater part of its industry, is devoid of coal and the Maritime Provinces (principally Nova Scotia) contain less than 1% of Canada s total coal - mostly Carboniferous hvb coal which closely resembles Its Eastern US counterparts. 

Finite-time thermodynamies is one of the newest and most challenging areas in thermodynamics. A book entitled Recent Advances in Finite Time Thermodynamics (editors Chih Wu, Lingen Chen, and Jincan Chen, Nova Science Publishers, Inc., New York, USA, 1999, ISBN 1-56072-644-4) provides results from research, which continues at an impressive rate. The book contains many academic and industrial papers that are relevant to current problems and practice. The numerous contributions from the international thermodynamic community are indicative of the continuing global interest in finite-time thermodynamics.

Summary DINA can be prepared by direct nitration of diethanolamine in the presence of hydrogen chloride. Some LBO players specifically seek a restructuring role within certain sectors of the chemical industry.
