Many initiators attack steels of the AISI 4300 series and the barrels of the intensifiers, which are usually of compound constmction to resist fatigue, have an inner liner of AISI 410 or austenitic stainless steel. The associated small bore pipework and fittings used to transfer the initiator to the sparger are usually made of cold worked austenitic stainless steel. The required pumping capacity varies considerably from one process to another, but an initiator flow rate 0.5 L / min is more than sufficient to supply a single injection point in a reactor nominally rated for 40 t/d of polyethylene. [Pg.99]

This study shows the significant benefits of an MLP pump in handling shear-sensitive CMP slurries in single-pass applications and under normal turnovers ( 100) expected in a typical fab operation. Since, the MLC pump generated far fewer >lpm particles in shear-sensitive slurries, the filter lifetime for MLC pump-based slurry delivery systems should be longer than the other AOD or bellows pump-based systems, especially when relatively open (> 1 pm nominal rating) filters are used in the global loop and point-of-use (POU) locations. [Pg.621]

Two sets, i.e., four experiments, of core flow studies are compared. Sets No. 1 and No. 2 were tertiary miscible and immiscible CO2 floods without mobility control. The same core from each set, after plain CO2 injection, was restored to waterflood residual oil saturation and flooded with 0.05% AEGS 25-12 surfactant in brine. There was almost no difference between the oil saturation distributions in the cores between experiments, with the average Sorw values of 37 1 saturation percent in both sets of experiments. The overall pyrolysis behavior of the bituminous coal and lignite under 1 atm helium is summarized in Figures 2 and 3.
