Here are the different kinds of net data types that are supported for synthesis. [Pg.8]

A variable in Verilog HDL can either be of the net data type or the register data type. For synthesis, a variable of net type maps to a wire in hardware and a variable of the register type maps either to a wire or a storage element (flip-flop or latch) depending on the context under which the variable is assigned a value. The present article reviews the photochemical deactivation modes and properties of electronically excited metallotetrapyrroles. Of the wide variety of complexes possessing a tetrapyrrole ligand and their highly structured systems, the subject of this survey is mainly synthetic complexes of porphyrins, chlorins, corrins, phthalocyanines, and naphthalocyanines. All known types of photochemical reactions of excited metallotetrapyrroles are classified. As criteria for the classification, both the nature of the primary photochemical step and the net overall chemical change, are taken. Each of the classes is exemplified by several recent results, and discussed. The data on exciplex and excimer formation processes involving excited metallotetrapyrroles are included. Various branches of practical utilization of the photochemical and photophysical properties of tetrapyrrole complexes are shown. Motives for further development and perspectives in photochemistry of metallotetrapyrroles are evaluated. [Pg.135]

With the neutral [(RCN)2PdCl2] pro-catalyst system (Fig. 12.3, graph iv), computer simulation of the kinetic data acquired with various initial pro-catalyst concentrations and substrate concentrations resulted in the conclusion that the turnover rates are controlled by substrate-induced trickle feed catalyst generation, substrate concentration-dependent turnover and continuous catalyst termination. The active catalyst concentration is always low and, for a prolonged phase in the middle of the reaction, the net effect is to give rise to an apparent pseudo-zero-order kinetic profile. For both sets of data obtained with pro-catalysts of type B (Fig. 12.3), one could conceive that the kinetic product is 11, but (unlike with type A) the isomerisation to 12 is extremely rapid such that 11 does not accumulate appreciably. Artificial neural networks learn the correct constituent classification model through iterative trial-and-error calculations to determine which frequencies in the data show the best ability to classify the pixels according to the constituent type. They can explore nonlinear as well as linear relationships among the frequencies by using, for example, squared and cross-product terms of the frequency data. However, because of the extreme nonlinearities that may be found in a neural net model, their results are often uninterpretable in a classical sense, even though they may predict quite well. [Pg.272]
