The main devices used for mosquito protection in households have been mosquito coils, electric mosquito mats, and liquid vaporizers, all of them methods that vaporize insecticides into the air using heating by means of fire or electricity to control the insects. In recent years, new anti-mosquito products have been commercialized such as fan vaporizers, paper strip type emanators, and resin net type emanators which vaporize insecticides without heating. In all of these products pyrethroid insecticides are used as active ingredients because they are superior in what is called knockdown effect, where noxious insects are rapidly paralyzed and cannot bite, and have a high level of safety for humans. 

Calibration profiles of the sensor based on the final nylon-enzyme net (III) were disappointing oonpared with the analogous sensor based on nylon net type II. The lower detection limit was only 0.1 mM glucose and currents produced were about 80% smaller. However, this alternative immobilization scheme serves to illustrate the synthetic versatility of nylon-6,6 in the biosensor field. 

The wire net is the most commonly used net type. When there are multiple drivers driving a wire net, the outputs of the drivers are shorted together. Here is an example. 

A variable in Verilog HDL can either be of the net data type or the register data type. For synthesis, a variable of net type maps to a wire in hardware and a variable of the register type maps either to a wire or a storage element (flip-flop or latch) depending on the context under which the variable is assigned a value. Let us look at a variable of register type in more detail. 

In this example, a 3-bit adder is being modeled. The number system for the operands is unsigned since they are of the net type. The leftmost bit is the most significant bit.

Certain other structures can be dissected into the 5-connected net of Fig. 29.17(a) and/or simple square nets. Depending on the relative orientations and translations of successive nets of these kinds (composed of Al atoms) there are formed polyhedral holes between eight or nine Al atoms in which the transition-metal atoms are found. A simple example is the CuAl2-0 structure, in which alternate layers of type (a) are related by the translation ac the Cu atoms are situated between the layers surrounded by eight Al at the vertices of the square antiprism of Fig. 29.17(b). In C02AI9 (Fig. 29.17(c)) the sequence square net, type (a) net, square net rotated and translated relative to the first, provides positions of 9-fold coordination for the Co atoms.
