Data on rubber tires and recapping materials are issued annually by the National Association of Independent Tire Dealers, Inc., of Washington, D. C. On a limited basis, information on consumption, sales, production facilities, and labor is supplied to nonmembers.

Several national organizations serve the professional needs of U.S. pharmacists. These reflect the practice milieu of members, eg, independent community pharmacies, chain dmg stores, and hospitals. The American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA), founded in 1852, is composed of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science, Academy of Pharmaceutical Practice and Management, and the Academy of Students of Pharmacy. Other organizations include the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP), National Association of Chain Dmg Stores (NACDS), and National Association of Retail Dmggists (NARD). 

The year 1999-2000 ushered in the second century of independent pharmacy service to the nation s communities and NCPA s existence as the only national association representing independent pharmacy. The Research Association of Micro Chemical Process Technology (abbreviation MCPT) was established in July 2002 with the aim to conduct experimental research on micro-chemical process technology through the collaborative work of its members. The association has been implementing R D together with its members from 29 different firms of various industries including the chemical industry, the precision machinery industry, and the electrical equipments and electronics industry. In addition, the participation of national, public, and private universities as well as independent administrative institutions has been greatly appreciated. 

To address these concerns, the following organizations experimented independently and also cooperatively The National Association for Safety with Gun Powder, the Japanese Merchants Association for Firearms and Gun Powder, the Yoshida Laboratory at the University of Tokyo, the Kobayashi Laboratory at Chuo University, and the Shirakawa Manufacturer at the Nippon Machinery Company. 

Audits are usually conducted by an audit team and led by a qualified, accredited auditor. Accredited auditors should have completed a certified development program, be accredited under an appropriate standard (ISO 9000 2000 TicklT in this context), and should have conducted a number of qualifying audits. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies that do not have their own accredited auditors can engage an independent auditor, as we have seen. Names and addresses of accredited auditors can be found in national registers of certified auditors. The International Register of Certificated Auditors is one such register, associated with the Institute of Quality Assurance (IQA). 

We are the national pharmacy association representing the professional and proprietary interests of independent community pharmacists and will vigorously promote and defend those interests.
