Issues for consideration under this element include controls or procedures, utilities, raw materials, equipment, and operating environments. Required tests and inspections as well as critical operating parameters, from an ESH/PSM perspective, would be covered here. 

Immobilization by electrostatic interaction results in a tight association of the NA backbone with the surface that may leave part of the molecule in an unfavorable conformation for its subsequent hybridization with complementary sequences. This could result in a loss of hybridization efficiency and is the primary reason why this method is recommended principally if the arrayed material is available in large quantities and its price is not an issue for consideration. Alternatively, this method can also be used if the NA does not possess specific chemical functionalities which can be used in other more directed immobilization strategies (e.g. covalent bonding).

CDO equity is not a straightforward instrument and must be assessed carefully by investors due to their complexity and limited liquidity. The following summary addresses some of the key considerations that should be addressed in preparation for the installation of an IRMS instrument. This section of the paper deals with the issue of environmental clean-up and the release of land areas from regulatory control. Of particular interest in the context of this Seminar are areas which have become contaminated as a result of operations in the nuclear fuel cycle and which have to be decontaminated as part of decommissioning. Land areas may also become contaminated as a result of accidents in the nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear weapons testing, the production of nuclear weapons, and previous poor practices inside and outside the nuclear fuel cycle. An issue for consideration is whether all types of contamination situation should receive the same regulatory treatment. 

The publicly available analyses of GA accidents and incidents were primarily restricted to fatalities only. The reports reviewed shared some similarities in how data were reported. It is common to see reports that conclude that a substantial proportion of accidents (up to 85 per cent) are attributable to human error, and sometimes specifically attributable to pilot-error or maintenance error. However, the analysis of human error is not a focus of these current analyses of groups of accidents. This is an important issue for consideration in the context of the AVSAFE database.
