Local sarcomas may develop in humans and domestic animals at sites of nickel implants and prostheses made of nickel. Latency of the implant sarcomas varies from 1 to 30 years in humans (mean, 10 years) and from 1 to 11 years in dogs (mean, 5 years). No cases of malignant tumors are reported at sites of dental nickel prostheses (Kasprzak 1987). 

In all three operational processes, deviations from the normal way of working occur due to external and internal changes. Such deviations can be identified by technical means, i.e. automatic registration devices on equipment, and human means, from observations of peoples. Both means are used to construct an overall view of the daily problems present in each operational process. 

The basis for all CAT models is the fundamental understanding of the transit flow of drugs in the gastrointestinal tract. Yu et al. [61] compiled published human intestinal transit flow data from more than 400 subjects, and their work showed the human mean small intestinal transit time to be 199 min. and that seven compartments were optimal in describing the small intestinal transit process using a compartmental approach. In a later work, Yu et al. [58] showed that between 1 and 14 compartments were needed to optimally describe the individual small intestine transit times in six subjects but in agreement with the earlier study, the mean number of compartments was found to be seven. This compartmental transit model was further developed into a compartmental absorption and transit (CAT) model ([60], [63]). The assumptions made for this CAT model was that no absorption occurs in the stomach or in the colon and that dissolution is instantaneous. Yu et al. [59] extended the CAT model...

Whenever therefore there is a possibility of moving natural bodies towards one another or away from one another, man and art can do everything where there is no such possibility, they can do nothing. Individual risk for human Individual risk for human means a possible damage of health while toxic substance enters the hiunan organism (task category 4.1). For carcinogenic substances the non-threshold incidence is supposed and the substance cumulates in the body in the long term.

And here, I think, we have one secret of the unique commercial success of Remarque s novel. In its narrative of Front experience, its numerous deadpan reports of mutilation, its episodic development, its alternation of picaresque and horrific, its effective mimicry of the language of the Front soldier, it gives the reader the truth, or at least the sensation of it. But at the same time, it contrives to take what threatens to be an unbearable truth -namely a depiction of a world devoid of human meaning - and make it bearable, palatable, even, by lying to the reader in the socially sanctioned lie of fiction. 

Advances in national technical means cannot replace on-site inspection - although it may be possible for OSI to be carried out to some extent by technical rather than human means. The installation of tamper-proof black boxes has long been a proposed method of monitoring a CTB it now appears to be envisaged in the context of the INF treaty, and might also assist with a chemical convention. The equipment would be used to identify and record the composition of emissions and effluent produced by civil chemical plants.
