In Switzerland health controls are largely a cantonal responsibility including healthcare systems, hospitals, professional education and the registration of medicines. In exceptional cases differences can exist, for instance, in the prescription status of individual pharmaceutical products from canton to canton (these are more the exception than the rule, however). To avoid duplication of effort and conflicting advice, the responsibility for pharmaceutical registration lies with the national regulatory authority, the Intercantonal Office for the Control of Medicaments (Interkantonale Kontrollstelle fiir Heilmittel or IKS).

The use of pesticides in Kenya dates back to the colonial era. The major areas of application include agricultural pest control and the public health control of mosquitoes, snails, and tsetse flies. PERFORMING THE ANALYSIS. The scope of the Study should be agreed upon by the team members. The analysis meetings should begin with a basic explanation of the process by operations staff who have overall facility and process knowledge, plus expertise relevant to the team s area of investigation. The presentation should also describe the facility s safety precautions, safety equipment, and health control procedures.
