Any material on the Environmental Hazardous Substance List/USDOT Hazardous Materials Table, must be reported at any quantity, if it was present at your facility. 

Any substance on the Extremely Hazardous Substance List must be reported at the threshold planning quantity or 500 pounds, whichever is less, if it was present at your facility in 1990. It is important to note that the majority of substances found on the Extremely Hazardous Substance List/USDOT Hazardous Materials Table. It is recommended that you report them at any quantity, as discussed in Item 1.

The following is a list of chemicals and articles that are regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The information has been obtained from 49 CFR, Parts 100-177 (.Hazardous Materials Table). The articles and chemicals are grouped by the hazard class and division (as defined in Chapter 1). 

Potassium compounds listed as hazardous substances by the U.S. EPA are given in Table 17. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) maintains a Hazardous Materials Table that designates the listed materials as hazardous for the purpose of transportation, packaging, and labeling (50).
