Determination of 2,3,7,8-TCDD is by capillary column GC-selective ion monitoring MS. The capillary column is 60-m X 0.25-mm i.d. glass-fused silica coated with SP-2330 to a thickness of 0.2 /xm. This column gives a unique separation of 2,3,7,8-TCDD from the other 21 tetra-chlorodibenzodioxin isomers.
