HBCD is a white free-flowing product containing about 74 weight percent (w/o) bromine and is recommended as a flame retardant for V-2 EPS, V-2 PP and V-2... 

An important field of development is the batched flow production of metal nanoclusters attached to biomolecules such as DNA under GMP laboratory standards. This conjures up hopes of applying metallic nanomaterials coupled with drugs, antibodies, or with oligonucleotides for cell-specific cancer diagnosis and therapy. With the help of such nanometallic tools, it can be expected that diseases or predispositions to diseases will be diagnosed earlier with the help of nanodrugs than is possible at present. 

This process is of special interest if a product has to be frozen more quickly than is possible on belts or in trays A pellet of 2 mm diameter is cooled from 0 °C to -50 °C in approx. 10 s, or at a rate of approx. 300 °C/min. The advantages are minimum freeze concentration, free-flow product, small ice crystals (which are acceptable in this case of small transport distances for energy and water vapor). It is likely that some pellets (those too large or too small) will need to be removed by sieving.

Since the complex itself loses pyridine under reduced pressure and darkens with surface decomposition, it should not be stored under vacuum or over acidic drying agents. Minimal exposure to the atmosphere is required to prevent hydration of the complex. The checkers found that a free-flowing product was obtained on drying for one hour. 

Nitrate solutions are also suitable for aerosol flow production of fine powders (50)(51). This technique yields small spherical particles that should be suitable for good sintering. However, because of the resulting small size of the superconducting grains, ceramics may have very poor flux expulsion properties if they are not thoroughly sintered (50). 

Another expl consisting of prilled AN fuel oil and supplied by the DuPont Co is the ANFO-P, which is a free-flowing product of density 0.75 to 0.85g/cc. As the fuel (or diesel) oil of this expl is volatile and of sharp odor, the mixture is not recommended for underground work, but its major application is in large quarry biasring (Ref 8, p62)... 

Add the Sodium Carbonate to the mixer. Spray the Igepal CO-630 onto the Sodium Carbonate. Add the remaining ingredients in the order listed. Mix until a homogeneous, free-flowing product results.

The versatile drive system of the asynchronous canned motor has set fresh yardsticks for centrifugal pumps operating under high-pressure conditions. The operating limits for pressure, temperature and toxicity of the flow product have been extended by some orders of magnitude. This is the logical result of the response to heightened safety environment requirements, and means that technical processes can now be implemented for the manufacture of new products. 

A reciprocating diaphragm pump (not illustrated here) feeds a sealing fluid into this circuit a sealing fluid which is compatible with the flow product, and which is fed through a threaded shaft seal into the primary circuit. This prevents solid particles from reaching the rotor compartment. 

As we noted in Chap. 2, we can characterize a plant s chemical components into reactants, products, and inerts. We don t want reactant components to leave in the product streams because of the yield loss and the desired product purity specifications. Hence we are limited to the use of two methods consuming the reactants by reaction or adjusting their fresh feed flow. Product and inert components all must have an exit path from the system. In many systems inerts are removed by purging off a small fraction of the recycle stream. The purge rate is adjusted to control the inert composition in the recycle stream so that an economic balance is maintained between capital and operating costs. 

Toluene carrier flow products were CO2, C2H and CH with (CO2/C2H6+CH4) = 2.
