End user representative

End User In an in-house project, the end user representative is normally from the operations and/or maintenance organization. If the end product is a consumer good, the end user representative could be an actual consumer, a representative from a consumers group, and/or organizational public relations or marketing personnel. In any event, the representative from the end user community should provide input relevant to operations and maintenance of the end product. [Pg.91]

End user representative. Technician or engineer for maintenance. Witness, training, application software responsibility. Co-signatory. [Pg.266]

The value of the FAT is that it allows the end user representative to independently test the logic and all other functionality of the PES. If the vendor s engineer has misunderstood anything in the user s specification (i.e. the safety requirements spec) there is a good chance of finding it during the FAT. [Pg.266]

The purpose of the ASl was to bring together lecturers of worldwide renown in this subject and let them meet with interested stakeholders and end-users, coming from academy, research, public administration, military institutions, and private companies. Participants came from 18 countries, representing Asia, Africa, most of Europe and North America. [Pg.277]

The principal operations involved in a chemical analysis are set out in Fig. 1.1. In considering the benefits of automating an analysis, each step in Fig. 1.1 must be taken into account. SampHng requirements will often not be amenable to automation and the task of reporting the result to the end-user may not be clearly defined. Analysts are often not involved in either the choice of sample nor in the reporting of the result—I beheve that it is important that they should be. For example, a sample which is not representative of the material it comes from will be of no real value, just as the reporting of a result without full justification of its precision is pointless. [Pg.251]

Several European intensive short-term ( campaign-type ) projects have provided important information on the atmospheric aerosol properties in Europe, usually by concentrating on specific aerosol properties or interactions. However, these kinds of campaign-type measurements do not necessarily represent the seasonal or annual variations of the aerosol concentrations and can overestimate some properties of the aerosol populations. Long-term measurements, especially with intercalibrated instruments and common data handling and calibration protocols make the data comparison between stations much more reliable and provide the end users (e.g., atmospheric modelers) good datasets to compare with. [Pg.303]

Azo dyes represent the largest group of disperse dyes for two reasons (1) the ease with which an extraordinary number of molecular combinations can be generated by varying the diazo and coupling components and (2) the relatively simple process by which the dyes can be produced. With this class of dyes, manufacturers can respond much more easily to customers and end users requests for special shades and fastness characteristics. [Pg.135]

BIPEA (Bureau Interprofessionnel d Etudes Analyti-ques) is a proficiency testing provider LDAR (Laboratoire D0partemental d Analyses et de Recherches de P0rigueux) is a field laboratory representative of end-users... [Pg.247]

Individual procedures can easily consume 10 to 15 days effort to produce, even with experienced staff. Use should be made of industry guidance when developing procedures, e.g., GAMP example procedures and IEEE standards. Where existing procedures are being revised to secure validation compliance, this estimate of effort could be reduced by about half. As recommended above, this should be supplemented with about 20 days effort across all the procedures, shared among a team of end users. The individuals should contain the core users who are involved in all the procedures in order to ensure consistency. Other end users on the team, however, can be seconded for the development of particular procedures in which they have a specific interest, or can contribute a particular skill or competence. For instance, an end user quality representative may wish to be seconded for the development of the Supplier Audit procedure. [Pg.53]

Desktop GAMP (2001) Represents the end user workstation and local software environment. Normally provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) front-end menu providing users with access to required applications. Many desktop environments can be reconfigured by the end user. [Pg.944]

The data presented in Tables IX and X are representative of the elements for which there was a definite indication of between-sample differences or a definite information requirement requested by the end user of the analytical data. As is the norm, all analytical channels were monitored.)... [Pg.21]
