Elastomeric polyurethane RIM, two-component MDI-based liquid systems available unfilled, glass-filled or mineral/microsphere filled offering large part mouldability, superior impact strength and excellent surface quality and in-mould coating, for agriculture, construction, automotive and special transportation application. 

To avoid the problem with light degradation the fabrics must be properly selected (i.e., polyester) and UV stabilized. As the period in which the fabric is exposed is short (in terms of months), no serious problems are to be expected. In case of more or less permanent applications under exposed conditions the fabric must be protected against direct sunlight. There are a number of methods of surface protection for geosystems. To provide additional UV and abrasion protection to the exposed sections of tubes, a coating of elastomeric polyurethane is often used. This coating, however, has a tendency to peel after about a number of months and therefore, has to be re-applied. 

Waterproof. Waterproofing barrier systems may be either hot- or cold-appHed. The hot-appHed generaUy involve a bituminous material such as asphalt used in conjunction with a reinforcing fabric such as roofing felt, cotton, or glass cloth. Cold-appHed can be bituminous or elastomeric materials either in Hquid or sheet form, with or without fabric reinforcement. Liquid elastomeric treatments include neoprene, polyurethanes, and blends of these or epoxies with bituminous materials. Among the commonly used precured elastomeric sheet materials are neoprene, polyisobutylene, EPDM mbber, and plasticized PVC.
