Ecological parameters

The yield is one of the most important ecological parameters, since all impacts on the environment have been related to it in order to characterise the energetic and ecological efficiency of an energy crop species (Scholz et al. 2006). The yields of the main products of conventional species such as cereals, oil and tuber crops are well known, whereas the yields of the whole plants are mostly not available in... 

It has become increasingly common to provide information on safe pigment handling and use in concentrated form on safety data sheets. Apart from listing physical and chemical parameters and information as to safety and precautionary measures, fire and flammability data, first aid after contamination and accidents, waste disposal, these sheets also provide toxicological and ecological parameters.

Blackburn et al. [4] provided the first ENM-based geographic predictions for the potential distribution of B. anthracis for the lower 48 states. That modeling scenario was based on a six-variable niche definition and included two soil parameters (soil moisture content and soil pH). These parameters are not available for Mexico, so to project the geographic distribution of an unknown data set, it is necessary to construct models for both countries with the same ecological parameters. This required the development of a modified coverage set that included variables available for both countries. 

In all methods, cell culture, primmorphs and fragmentation, morphological changes indicate that the culture conditions may not be optimal. Further ecological parameters have to be involved in the optimisation of culture conditions and sponge bioreactor design.
