There are a number of other devices that can be used to aid in the retrieval of a fish. These vary from mechanical tubular cutting equipment to explosive devices. This type of equipment can be very useful in separating the fish into smaller parts that can be retrieved more easily than the whole fish. 

The rewound rolls of laminate are transferred to the pouching and die-cutting equipment. The pouching process involves taking these slit and overlapped rolls, cutting them into individual systems, and then finally sandwiching them between two layers of poly pouch material. 

All safety guards, where fitted by the manufacturer, must be kept in use. The cutting equipment must be sharp and the clearances suitable for polyurethane. Poor machining practices can cause localized heating, and the decomposition fumes are dangerous. 

Water is also used with oil and other additives in the form of an emulsion as a coolant and lubricant in cutting processes. These fluids must be nonflammable, as a spark from the cutting tool or electrical equipment would cause a fire, and they should not cause irritation to the skin or produce harmful vapours. Furthermore, for purposes of protection from corrosion, they should not cause corrosion of the cutting equipment or the material being cut and should give short-term protection from atmospheric corrosion.

The resulting completeness argument must always be subject to regular reviews. It is likely that new technological developments will offer safer working practices, for example an increase in the utility of remotely operated vehicles and cutting equipment, or better body protection armour. It may just be the case that existing, expensive (and therefore not reasonably practicable) protection methods become cheaper or more easily available. 

Floors— Where combustible materials such as paper clippings, wood shavings, or textile fibers are on the floor, the floor must be swept clean for a radius of at least 35 feet (OSHA requirement). Combustible floors must be kept wet, covered with damp sand, or protected by fire-resistant shields. Where floors have been wet down, personnel operating arc welding or cutting equipment must be protected from possible shock.
