Creative thinking

Everybody can develop some kills in creativity by thinking laterally and by using specific techniques for idea generation. 

Perceptual. The person sees only part of the truth, does not analyse all the factors involved. 

Emotional. The fear of being ridiculed, the loss of personal status, the wish to come to a rapid conclusion. 

An R D Manager must be take these points into account when using any of the techniques described later. Steps must always be taken to minimise the impact of perceptual, social and emotional barriers on the activity. 

The process of creative thinking is obviously very complex but can be usefully simplified into the following steps.
