Cost related strategy

As the use of antibiotics in fish feed has become a debatable topic among farmers, researchers and planners, alternative treatments were and are in high demand. The focus lies on the search for methodologies that are low cost, relate to natural processes that have been shown to counteract pathogenic activity, and are ubiquitous in nature. The idea is that these strategies can be integrated with standard culturing practices and do not impose a burden on the environment. 

Deactivation and D D actions can range from stabilization of multiple hazards at a single site or facilities containing chemical or radioactive contamination, or both, to routine asbestos and lead abatement in a nonindustrial structure. Strategies include programs that meet compliance objectives, protect workers, and make certain that productivity and cost-effectiveness are maintained. The content and extent of health and safety-related programs should be proportionate to the types and degrees of hazards and risks associated with specific operations. 

Cost factor. The calculation of CE is similar to current approaches of LCC analyses, again tailored to the evaluation of chemical synthesis strategies. CE includes (i) the costs of the supply of reactants, solvents and auxiliaries (ii) costs resulting from synthesis, (iii) workup, (iv) application and (v) disposal. Again, this effort is related to the molarity (or mass) of the product. 

Radiologic and/or endoscopic procedures are usually required to objectively document the presence of ulcers. Barium studies have a high sensitivity and are considered first-line tests to radiographically document an ulcer. However, the cost and complexity of all of these tests has led to the promotion of an early empiric treatment strategy for patients at low risk for PUD-related sequelae (e.g., malignancy). An empiric treatment strategy is appropriate for patients less than 50 years of age who have mild or intermittent epigastric symptoms and no evidence of PUD-related systemic symptoms or complications.
